Hygiene kits are essential for our CARITAS participants, helping meet basic needs, maintain dignity, and support their journey toward stability and healing.
Please fill at least 10 gallon-sized ziploc bags with the following items: toothbrush, toothpaste, alcohol-free mouthwash, men's body wash, a washcloth, a disposable razor, men's shaving cream, men's deodorant, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner.
No food in the bags please. Travel size items are preferred.
Once assembled, please drop off the cleaning kits at the CARITAS Center (2220 Stockton Street, Richmond, VA 23224) between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
This opportunity is completed off-site, and volunteers are responsible for assembling and delivering the cleaning kits to the CARITAS Center. Each kit counts for 1 hour of community service.
