THP: Backpacks for Recovery Classes (Group/Corporate/Individual)

Help participants at The Healing Place store the items they need for their daily recovery classes. Purchase a backpack and fill it with 2 college ruled spiral notebooks, 4 black pens, 2 highlighters, 1 hand small hand sanitizer and 1 small flashlight. No food please.

Once assembled, please drop off the cleaning kits at the CARITAS Center (2220 Stockton Street, Richmond, VA 23224) between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday.

This opportunity is completed off-site, and volunteers are responsible for assembling and delivering the cleaning kits to the CARITAS Center. Each kit counts for 1 hour of community service. We are willing to take as many backpacks as you are able to fill.
